Professor Landis was the greatest professor I ever had. He's very upbeat and passionate about what he does. He's always there to help you as long as you show that you're trying. He challenges you but knows your limits. I would take him or any of his classes again.

FUN CLASS! I looked forward to going to this class because Landis made writing papers easy and enjoyable. Super helpful and understanding. Just do your best and you'll nail it! There's a group project but it's fun. NO TESTS! A few papers and one presentation. He has tons of energy & will keep you awake for sure. I'd take him again :)

Very unclear about assignments and does not follow the syllabus at all. If he doesn't find your paper interesting you will not receive a good grade. Half of the assignments that were on the syllabus were not assigned. Make sure your final is grade is correct because he will mess it up and it is up to you to question it and get the grade you earned

He's a unique type of guy. Booming with personality. Very helpful, explains what he wants thoroughly. Will help you become a better writer. Very understanding, is willing to work with you. IF you respect him and are a professional to him he WILL help you. Make sure you visit him to go over papers willing to change grade!!!

When it came to grading he never told you the percentarge or how many points you earned but instead just a letter grade. Landis is a horrible professor. He can be completely inappropriate during class. He never gives you a handout with the paper requirements on it, instead he just announces it to the class. In addition to that, he changes what he wants about the paper so that you never have a clear idea of the assignment.
