His t-shirts really are great. The horses rock. He is clear and knowledgeable about all kinds of things... history, pop culture, languages, math. He makes what you need to know clear and tests are reasonable.

He is truely an awesome professor. YOu get out of the class what you put into it. He gives you the information straight forward, but its up to you to memorize it. He does get sidetracked... but thats what helps keep it interetesting. Tests are exactly what he tells you to expect so again.. if you study, you are fine. I would definately suggest taking his class!

I've learned more from him than from any other professor. Some of it Russian, some of it random interesting trivia. Most knowledgable man I've ever met, period. His side stories alone are worth taking the class. He assigns homework, but if you master the material, you'll get an A. As it should be.

One of the easiest teachers ever. Students have advanced the theory that he does not give lower than a B for fear of students leaving the Russian program and leaving him with no job. At the same time, if you invest effort, you can learn almost unlimited
