It's an 8 week class so it can be a lot. Per week there is 2 regular quizzes (you can take twice), 2 'listening' quizzes, one extra credit quiz, one or two assignments, and a weekly check in. You get 3 days past due date to turn in work. Class wasn't the most interesting, it focuses on a lot of music terms. He updates grades every single morning.

Took his online class and it was a heavy workload for 8 weeks but it was manageable. 2 timed quizzes but you have two chances to take it, essay and 2-3 other assignments due every week. He gives good feedback and lets you resubmit assignments for full credit. Overall nice teacher and responds quickly to emails.

I struggled/made fun of this class at first. Dr. Scott allows 2 attempts on quizzes, three day grace period on homework/redo homework if turned in on time, extra credit, online book w/study guide, easy to reach/always responds, & a lot of homework as w/every online class.I have a new appreciation for Art! I ended up loving this class!

Everything is straightforward. No tests. 2 Timed quizzes/ week you can take them twice. One writing assignment per week, but all homework you can turn in up to 3 days late for full points. If you turn it in by due date you can re do everything for more points. He tells you what you did wrong. You use his online book that is really easy to read.

Professor Stuart is good teacher. I like the fact that he allowed us to turn in our assignments by the due date and let us re-submit them within 3 days for a BETTER grade! A lot of homework, but worth it in the end!

I took this class with Professor Stuart on-line. He is without a doubt the best communicator. He responds almost instantly to messages, he gives great feedback and really helps you with the material. There was no text book but the study guides and your notes will be essential to passing the class. I definitely recommend this professor.

I have taken many online classes through Macomb and this one was by far the most organized. After you get used to the way the professor has set up everything it is smooth sailing. He even gives you a rubric for every assignment of what exactly he is grading on. I had no interest in the arts beforehand, but now have an appreciation for it.

Very nice and extremely helpful instructor. Gives you an extra week to turn in assignments. Always available for help. You have to work, but he is more than willing to help you. Genuinely interested in his students. Assignments are relevant to the material.

I really enjoyed this class. At first I didn't think it would be that interesting, but the assignments made the material easier to understand. The professor sends out an email that lets you know when you have assignments that are due. I also liked that you have a week to get things submitted.

Excellent teacher, you'll learn a lot and get a good grade but you will have to do some work. Some student in my class didn't like this teacher as he does what he says he'll do and doesn't back down when student whine and cry to try to get him to change their grades or when assignment are do.

Horrible teacher! Get everything he says in writing! He will lie to you and re-nig on agreements. Changes the syllabus to suit his whims in the middle of the semester when it's too late to drop the class. Highly NOT recommended, which is a shame because he's the only one who teaches this class.

I took intro to the arts in an Online class and it was probally the easiest class that I've taken. There's probally a half hour or maybe more of work to do a day. If you do the lectures and quizzes you'll for sure pass. One midtern and one Final...very easy...50 question and you can use your notes Obviously. Recommened for online purpose.

I took this class online.. It was ok.. Not really hard. We had to go to 2 field trips which I thought was weird since this was an ONLINE class.. He does not say much, but the online lectures are really easy to do.. you can redo the lecture quizzes over and over again till your score is higher..
