I had him for concert band and as an academic advisor. Awful, he didn't want to help, he didn't care, and he didn't sign me up for half the classes I needed. I definitely would not reccomend him.

scott teeple is an arrogant jerk who needs to get his head out of the clouds. he needs to realize that his actions not only effect, but affect people and their lives. don't let him bully you around or you'll end up changing your major and/or schools around the time you start thinking about graduation.

What can I say? I love going to band because Teeple challenges us. I don't mind sounding like a really awesome band either. He's passionate and enthusiastic, yes, but all that has been said before. I love band for another reason...he's really NICE to look at too.

I started with Prof. Arrowood, so switching to Teeple was hard, but it worked. I got used to someone new, and ended up liking band just as much as before. It was still a treat when Arrowood would come back to guest conduct.

Class had good information, but was a bit random. When you are given a test date it would be nice to know what exactly is being covered so you don't waste your time studying things you don't need to. We all seemed to be asking each other what was going on all the time and nobody knew?

Enthusiastic and passionate -- but not over-passionate! And that's extremely important. He's very level-headed and comes off as calm and collected, reflecting an easy-going demeanor to the ensemble...which makes it so very easy to *want* to play better. And trust me, he will make you play better!

Is overall a wonderful teacher, conductor and musician. Is more than willing to talk with you during office hours. Cares about the MUSIC more than anything. Needs to get a secretary to help him organize.
