If you have to take this class take him. He's not the easiest grader, but he explains everything to make sure you understand it. Funny personal stories. Homework is extremely relavent to the class, and he posts answers to practice problems online. Only 3 noncumulative tests including the final.

Accounting is tough, but if you have to take it, take Chen. Two midterms, and the final is not cumulative. Homework every 2 or 3 weeks, and it isn't hard. Take Chen, you'll understand accounting better because of him.

Sean Chen is the best teacher i have ever had!!!!! I failed accounting the first time with another teacher and then ACED it with him! he is soo nice and so passionate about teaching. I highly reccomend him!

Professor chen tends to be on the difficult side grading (esp your paper/ projects) and on tests. To suceed you need to make sure fallow and ask him the format because he will ding you on it either way. He teachs very clearly and very well so if you do your work u will suceed. Watch out for his finals it tends to level the playing field.

This guy is a great teacher. He is hard to understand but office hours will help. I wish i would have gone in earlier in the year. Could have gotten an A and I am not even a math person. Give him a break and you'll enjoy the class. Makes some really funny comments. Good guy.

Despite what everyone else says he is a very helpful teacher! Yes, he likes to joke around when you don't get it but he goes over the material 5 times. It's hard not to understand it. If you go to his office hours he's very helpful with the hw. Acct is not hard, just tedious.

Chen's class isn't easy; in fact, it's hard. But I still liked the guy. He's a little on the weird side, but a cool guy nonetheless. As long as you work and show interest in his class, he'll go easy on you. He's nit-picky on assignments, so attention to detail is a must.
