dont bother buying the book. he said himself that if he does not cover it in class then he does not quiz over it. quizzes on tuesdays - drop the lowest grade and then 3 exams total. he is a good teacher, and knows his art. easy class. he gives reviwes. easy A.

Very knowledgable but must take good and alot of notes. Use slides for lectures. Gives review sheet before every test. Gives weekly Quizes. Gives extra credit. Has visited alot of the places he shows in his slides. Does not communicate through email.

I HAD NEVER BEEN SO INTERESTED IN ART IN MY LIFE. I REALLY AM ENJOYING THIS CLASS. HE IS VERY DETAILED ABOUT EACH SLIDE, BUT HE JUST WANTS YOU LEARN EVERYTHING. LOVE THIS CLASS.

i have never heard someone make art sound so boring in all my life. as an art major i was looking for someone excited about the subject, instead i got a man that liked to show slides from his art vacations and talk about the mona lisa like an average finger painting. also he hardly notices when people have questions. don't bother raising your hand.

There is a ton of info to retain for each test. This class is much harder than you would think. He speaks monotone and he talks for the FULL class. You never get out early.
