Dr Jamil manages to make the class not so boring. Don't let the 10 tests intimidate you. If you follow along during class, she gives you the answers. As for helpfulness, I went through serious family problems, and she definitely understood and helped me out, balanced my grade b/c of missed classes etc. Take her class, it's not as bad as it seems!

Let's just say that she is very boring and repeats things like a million times. Grading wise shes pretty easy... 10 small tests(quizes) and two essays. not bad. She DOESNT look at grammar..so if youre the worst at gram.then take her.

I got an A on this class by doing what the post( dated: 4/23/03) mentioned. Honestly, she's passionate of what she does and the class would be boring if you make it boring. If you can work independently and have a silver tounge, this class is for you!
