Sig was my first painting teacher ever and after taking his class, he gave me the foundational skills that I still use to this day. I graduated with a BFA in '99. I am a female artist and was treated no differently than the male students. One of the paintings I created in my third year, sold for $300, unframed AND not even Shown in a gallery. Thx

Structural drawing...aka draw tables for 3 hours, not really my thing. Sig would come around and "critique" everyone while we drew, and he'd pretty much be flat out with you. I did learn a lot, but he didn't give us grades until I saw it on COIN.

Sig is the reason i stopped painting. He is the only painting 3 teacher so if you dont like him your painting career halts. The man is smug and perfers the company of only male artists. If you are a female, dont even bother.
