Shalva is a sweetheart who has only her students needs in mind. Its worth it to rewrite her papers, and go to office hours--that minimal but extra effort will definitely increase your grade! Her class this semester was enjoyable and interesting!

Shelva is a great teacher! She really loves teaching and wants to help her students as much as possible! If you are stuggling be sure to ask her for help and go to office hours. As long as she knows you're making an effort, she's very generous with grades. Although the class is pretty difficult, especially if you didn't take Hebrew as a kid.

A really nice woman, but loses the class's attention very easily because she does not foster discussion about anything; its either lecture or working in pairs, which is not conducive to learning the language. Homeworks are rare, but tests can be challenging if you don't study thoroughly. Kissing up counts...

adorable. it felt great learning hebrew from someone who reminded me of my grandmother. she really bridges the gap between the inexperienced and advanced kids in the class and makes sure everyone learns together...i miss this lady.
