I do not agree with her theories on the "spontaneous evolution" of French in Canada because for the past few decades the Office of the French Language has been drafting the lexical items that are permitted in the French-speaking provinces. If those guys had not done anything for French, we would be speaking only English or code-switching.

She's very knowledgeable, and speaks in a good slow pace which is perfect for taking notes. But she does not teach you a great deal of things. You kinda have to study on your own and do your own research while reading an assigned article. Her quizes are hard, and the questions focus on the tiniest details. The articles she assigns are also hard
