While there are a lot of papers and group work, it's all really easy and interesting stuff. Khan is a very good prof who is very passionate about social justice. However, if you're not looking to actually go to class and learn then stay away.

Dr Khan knows her content back to front. If you're confused, she'll help you. She's not the most sensitive of people, so her feedback is often blunt. Develop a thick skin! As well, she's not very tech-savvy, she often hires a student to handle her MLS and DropBox stuff, so don't expect her to know how to help you with any technical difficulties.

Worst prof ever. Her 1 on 1 office sessions are a nightmare. Prepare to be ridiculed and be treated horribly. Very bad at explaining course material and displaying a level of sensitivity and interest in helping students. DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE. Material was very interesting, but this prof ruined. As a student you are ALWAYS wrong in her view.

She's tough, but fair. It's true that not going to discuss your paper with her during her office hours will reflect poorly on your grade, but talking to her does help. Her tests are straightforward and her essays are quite short. She's a prof. who challenges her students to work hard.

Shes the worst prof Ive ever had. Her markings completely arbitrary and she isn't clear on what she expects for assignments. We were told if we did not visit her office hours we wouldnt pass but she offered no advice if you spoke to her. She is rude and condescending to all students. Don't think for yourself because you'll be wrong if you disagree

Dr. Khan is an awesome prof. You will find her to be lazy, rude or the class to be hard if you are lazy, rude, and don't attend class or do readings. She is always available to help you...and if you read the incredibly easy readings or visit her at office hours you will get a good mark. Her classes aren't bird courses but she gives you the answers

Dr. Khan provided me with material and knowledge I would have not come across had I not taken her classes. Her door is always open and she is very supportive. Dr. Khan is very understanding of her students. She expects a lot from us and the more you put in the more you get out.

She is a TERRIBLE professor. Everyone I know who ever went to her office hours left having been insulted and told they obviously have never written a real paper. She will not allow students to express opinion in class, and her assignments have no guidance for a good grade. It seems like she just picks your grade out of a hat.

This is the worst prof in life. I have never had a professor like her in my life. Yes some classes in undergrad are challenging, but her marking is arbitrary, contradicts herself, totally disrespectful to students. Frankly, she epitomizes "abuse of power". Seriously Should not be teaching.

It was a new class so the topics were random and very little basic background on subjects was given. Also very stubborn in her views, if you had a contrary opinion about something you were 'wrong'. Very willing to help if you are not so discouraged as to ask (very unapproachable). I was optimistic, even after reading the reviews, but got a C too.

shes a little tooooooo big on feminism, i mean she relates EVERYTHING TO THE WOMEN THE WOMEN THE WOMEN. But shes a wonderful lady, and great has great deal of knowledge on her subject of teaching. However, Id like her to ease up on feminist perspectives....other than that you wont get a better prof!
