I had him for Ethics. (That was not a choice for class on Rate my Prof.) He has somewhat high expectations for students to get a high grade, which is fine, but low expectations for himself. He was late getting an assignment posted, late getting a DB question up and a test answer was wrong.

Shane is a super cool teacher. He was my Comp 1 instructor and his class was really awesome. Lot's of papers but he gives really good feedback to make you a better writer. I haven't had any other English teachers yet but I would hope to have him as a teacher again.

Not only did I have Shane for English, but also philosophy. You can tell he is very passionate about the courses he teaches and does a phenomenal job TEACHING the content. I can say that I walked away from his classes and gained knowledge. I wish I could take more of classes. Great riddles and jokes too!

Shane is an exceptional teacher. He is nice, funny, and always willing to discuss something. He knew what he was talking about and seemed really interested in his own subject. I learned a lot from him and would love to take another one of his classes. It doesn't hurt that he is pretty cute too!

I had Shane for English I, II, and American Literature, the reason I had him for all three literature classes was because I thought he was great after the first class. He teaches you very useful skills for writing a good paper, grammatical skills, along with psychological tactics to use that make your writing that much better for real world uses.

Shane is a great teacher and is very helpful. I took Comp 1 and 2 with him. I'm not a huge fan of English but I always wanted to go to class and was kinda bummed when I would have to miss class. I felt like I learned a lot in his classes. Great teacher with lots of fun stories!

Shane teaches very rudimentarily. Everything that has been taught in this class was something I already knew. Try and get a different professor.
