Shanan was great. She works in the field and is extremely talented as both a performer and a professor. She really knows her stuff and obviously loves it. Plus the class was easy to pass if you put in a little work on papers and went to see the required shows (which was a great experience).

She is not ditzy or disorganzied. Shanan is awesome. The class is work, but it isn't hard. We originally had to see 5 plays but she changed it to 4. She does not grade hard and she is very understanding if you cannot make a deadline. She is tons of fun so I would recommend to take her class if possible!

have to see 5 performances and write 5 page papers on each and then write lots of other papers and a 7 page paper. Decent teacher but disorganized and ditsy. bad with notes and reviewing for tests.Papers are hard and graded hard.she is laid back sometimes and funny but overall there are better teachers out there.Take a different prof for theater!

Shanan is awesome, and if you take her for Intro to Theater you will really enjoy having her. I had no interest in theater prior to this class, but ended up kind of digging the shows we had to see. Shanan is hilarious and makes class really fun and laid back. Great way to do your Art requirement at St. Thomas.

Wexler is crazy, but this is a good thing. I enjoyed being in her class (cough)easy A(cough), but in addition, I had fun and she is a hilarious performer. If you are taking a theatre course, take Wexler.
