Comment:

Professor Zhao is very knowledgeable about this subject and knows exactly how to make it easy to understand. He does expect you to know basic algebra beforehand, we work out of the book for everything and attendance is a must. Do homework, exams are taken from the homework. He allows front/back cheat sheet. No reason not to pass.

Horrible professor, I would recommended to drop his class immediately. He grades off of two thing. The midterm and the final, he's also really hard to understand and jumps around too much during his lecture. I would avoid his class at all cost.

Dr. Zhao takes the time to throroughly explain the material and will always answer your questions. There were 5 homework assignments, a mid term, and a final. Both exams were based on the homework so make sure you understand the material covered in the homework assignments! Every class he works out of the textbook so it is needed for sure!

This class consists of weekly online quizzes with answers easily accessible online (40%). An essay that summarizes what you have learned (20%) due the last week. Lastly a difficult in class final that doesn't include any of the material from the quizzes (40%). Make sure you take in-depth notes of the chapters for the final throughout the semester.

A little hard to understand, so it's important to pay attention in class. Your midterm and final counts for 80% of your grade and attendance and homework is the other 20%, so very important you do good on the exams. Allows a cheat sheet for both, so it's not too bad

I truly love Professor Zhao but when it comes to explaining concepts, he takes a very long time to get the point across. We literally read straight from the textbook and any examples were taken directly from the book so if you take this class, don't expect to pass without a book.

I had Prof. Z. for QBM. The material was relatively easy. We only did five homework assignments that you can get a 100 on each one if you show all of your work, even if the answers are wrong. He goes over homework which is helpful since exams are based on the homework assignments. Only two exams, and a cheat sheet can be used for each one.

Dr. Zhao made the class extremely easy to understand. Dumbed down the math problems and simplified everything possible. Gave a double sided full page cheat sheet for test, if you didn't get a good grade you did something wrong. Show up to class and take notes and youre gonna get an easy A. Need to buy textbook too.

Professor Zhao is at first hard to understand because of his accent but after a few classes it pretty much clears up. He is very knowledgeable on the subject and goes over things many times. As long as you show up for class and take notes you will do well. There are only two tests and a couple homework and you are allowed notes for the test.

I took his class online and it's super easy. You take a 25 question quiz every single week and you have 1 written assignment due near the end of the semester and 1 HUGE cumulative final with 1 cheat sheet. He's very responsive to emails. Since I didn't take him in person, I don't know what his teaching style is like.

This was my second time taking quantitative business, and if it wasn't for Professor Zhao I probably would not have passed. Although his English can sometimes be hard to understand, he will always repeat whatever you need him to. I'm in his operations management online class now and would highly recommend him for that also.

Prof Zhao is great at teaching. 1st class u may find him tough to understand due to his heavy accent but couple more classes u will get a hang of it. Required textbook. He is very clear, can use cheat sheet during exams , explains very clearly of what he wants . easy class if you pay attention. 2 exams. No group project. Homework a must.

Take him online, its much easier than having him in class. He's hard to understand from what I hear in person but the class online is literally just one quiz every week, and one 4-5 page paper at the end of the semester. Quizzes are 25 questions and are generally pretty easy.

Very nice person. Homework and tests are easy. The tests cover the exact same problems from the homework, and you are allow to have a cheat sheet... Prof zhao doesn't use blackboard, so I forgot all about the midterm.... Homework and attendance are more important than the test. My grades for the exams were 89,10,78 and received a C+

I thought he was a great teacher. i sat in the front of the class because his accent is hard to understand. the material is hard so you really have to pay attention to what he says. allows a sheet of notes for each test. homework is pretty easy and is really helpful to study when takin the test. i would take him again

Comment:

Really nice guy, really boring, really hard. Avoid this teacher if you can! If you fail the first test, you have to pretty much withdrawal because it is near impossible to bring your grade up to a C after that. Occasional homework that really doesn't count for anything.
