The people who defended her were the weak and easily brainwashed. It takes a certain level of intelligence to challenge authority and those people did not possess it. She knew nothing of work as a theatre artist and might as well have spouted hearsay and rumor than try to teach things like Biomechanics. She stunted the growth of her students.

I hated her. She was really rude to me and refused to understand my artistic side. She sees art as having a right and wrong. She's the type of person who looks at a Monet paiting and remarks, "It's too blurry." She only sees things her way, and thinks she's always right. Oh, and she's a bad teacher.

Doc has a tough shell but is really nice once you prove yourself. She expects nothing but your best, and will call you out if she doesn't think you are getting it from her. Her classes are a great way to meet people because you have to work so hard with others. Definitely learned a lot. Recomend her to anyone, just can't be too sensitive.

Hands down, the worst professor alive...anywhere on the face of the earth. Oh, and on top of that, she's an absolutely hideously mean person. I've had countless acting teachers (including major Hollywood players!) and I can say for certain that Carbaugh understands 0% about the craft of acting.

Dr. Carbaugh is extremely dangerous! I am one of the MANY Kingdom Players that has had to get Psychological help after touring with her for 2 years!! Diversity is not encouraged, it is exponged! Thank God for Gail Lemmert - a wonderful counselor at Lee who helped me "come out" of kingdom players.
