Absolutely fantastic! You can tell she is very passionate about math and helping her students learn. She does a really good job of explaining her teachings and is always available for office hours if you need it! I would definitely take a class with her again.

Dr. Emerson-Stonnell is a fantastic professor! Best math teacher i have ever had her lectures are long but she truly cares about her work and dumbs it down to make it easy to understand. Her homework is a maximum three problems a night . I would definitely take another class that she is teaching

Fantastic professor, she went through everything step by step and let the class come to a conclusion instead of just telling us the answer, it really helped with the understanding. She is incredibly kind and caring, and always gets grades up within 24 hours. If you ever need help, she is always willing and available in her office.

She is an amazing teacher I enjoyed having her. While the class is hard she teaches it very well and is always there to help you. Just know that you wont be using your calculator very often and that you will have homework every night.

Absolutely the best math professor I have ever had. If Dr. Emerson-Stonnell is teaching a class, take it. Keep up with the homework and you will do fine on tests-the test questions are usually much easier than the homework problems.

BY FAR the best math professor I have ever had especially compared to the rest of the math professors at LU. She gives homework EVERY night, but it turns out to be very helpful come test time. As long as you don't absolutely suck at math, if you show up for class, do your homework and study for tests you will be fine. FAIR TESTS AND NO SURPRISES!!

Great teacher. Moves fast, so try to keep up. Goes through each step mutliple times and does her best to make sure every understands it, not that they get good grades, but understands it. Work hard and you will do well, and enjoy the satisfaction of finally understanding math.

I took her Calc II & III class and got A's in both, as long as you listen in class, do her homework, and do well on quizzes you will do well on the tests cus she makes the test easier than the quizzes and homework. Excellent teacher, good at explaining topics, not the most fun teacher you will have, but definitely a good math professor.

A fairly easy class, as long as you do homework (assigned every class) and actually go to class. This is one course where skipping definitely hurts your grade, as she has an attendance policy and it's easy to get behind on the work.
