Awesome professor. She is very kind, caring, and funny, and tends to throw in a lot of jokes or funny remarks during her lectures. While she does not take attendance, she expects students to be in class, as she gives information out during her lectures that cannot be found on Moodle. She is super smart and understanding.

I love her! I wish I wasn't graduating so I could take her for another class. She hates when students text in her class though, so show her respect. She's very fair.

Didn't like her personality from the beginning. The only reason I ended up with an A in her class is because she offers a lot of extra credit opportunities. STUDY FOR HER TEST...A LOT! She does not curve the them. If you want to do well, this class requires effort. She does not make you read the book which is nice; only tests on material from class

Dr.Gilman is a very nice woman who is very understanding. She expects a lot out of her students, but nothing unreasonable. If you pay attention in class, and remember some examples for the test you will do very well in any of her classes. Took her for bio 121 and animal behavior. She also offers extra credit.

Not a good teacher.....did not explain things well at all and the tests are all open ended essay questions and she graded each persons test differently so the grading was never consistent. Did not like her teaching method at all and i did not learn anything!!! Avoid if you can!

This professor is great! I highly recomend her! If you get done with your lab you're free to go so it's a very much work at your own pace. She's very helpful and is always willing to answer questions. She seems very concerned with you knowing the material.
