Bless her heart. Is she disorganized? yes Does she sometimes go off topic? most of the times but then she suddenly surprises you with her great knowledge on the subject. She was very helpful, even tutoring me for my linguistic class and was willing to review my many essays (also from other classes).

She always goes on tangents and that's not helpful if you don't understand what she's talking about! I don't recommend taking her unless you're in graduate school. Very confusing.

I don't recommend taking her. She loses track of what she is talking about way too much, is always off topic and doesn't follow syllabus at all. If you are fine with this style of teaching, then go for it. If it annoys you, take another class. She is a very kind person, but teaching is not her strength.

Knows the subject and is kind hearted. But so disorganized. Piles on more and more information, sends emails just a couple of hours before class, tells us to look at this, look at that, check out more and more and more online stuff. No way to get a real handle on what is important. A complex subject made more so.

She is very scattered and disorganized. She makes the class seem very difficult, but she does care about the well being of her students. If you put in the time and the work you will get the grade, she is not an easy grader, but she does everything she can to help you.

Dr. Klein is amazing. Knowledgeable in her subject,she genuinely cares about students, and willing to help or clarify. True, she is sometimes late and a bit disorganized but so are we all. Always ask for help if you need it. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND her for a linguistics class. If you're interested, so is she.

She is a very disorganized person. She never lets you out early and never explains the material well. She expects you to know everything on the topics you are to write about and never helps you with your topic. I did not like this professor. I would NEVER take a class from her again. I questioned a grade I received from her so she lowered it.

Disorganized, always late to class, very late in returning graded assignments (if you get them back at all). You'll have to drive yourself to learn on your own about whatever topics she brings up. Work the textbook hard to make up for what's not in the lectures, then ask her about specific topics in class. If you take charge you can learn from her.

she is very patient, kind, & accommodating. i think she does her best to explain a very boring & difficult subject in an interesting way. she's soo smart, which kinda explains her tangents. she’s a fair grader, but can be unclear on the breakdown. try to ALWAYS do your best, as you might not get your test results unitl the end of the semester.

This class in itself was very boring but professor Klein did whatever she could to make it interesting. She's a great professor and was willing to help the students as much as she could. In the end she's a fair grader. However, the material was confusing.

I took my first linguistics class with her. Like most of the students in the class, we were all English majors, and we had NO idea what she was saying. The book was just awful too. Her method was just let the students read and then have them ask questions in class, And that's it! If you were lucky, she would actually explain a little more.

I agree she's a nice person but she never has a focused, organized or structured way of conducting her lectures or even her assignments. She's easy but it almost doesn't make up for the fact that I learned very little. If you ask her a question she goes off on 100 different tangents which gets annoying and she let us out of class late all the time.
