Great Instructor! =) Gives handouts every class period and tells you what will be on the test. She's funny and nice too!I learned a TON in this class!I am GRATEFUL I did because I would be lost right now in BSC 227 without it! They should make this class mandatory for nursing. I don't know how ppl w/o med backgrounds understand the terms!

Mrs. Porter is an awesome teacher. I took her from Med. Terminology and love her!Like others have said her tests are VERY straight forward and she will tell you what you need to know for the test.I probably didn't need a book as she will give handouts with every class.You get extra credit for crosswords and she has funny stories to boot! Take her!

She is such a great lady. You do have to go to class and you do have to do the work but you'll learn a lot and have fun. She is one of the best professors. TAKE HER if you need an elective.

I loved this class. Not only was it extremely easy, I learned a lot as well. Not so much from the material(I knew most of it already from h.s.anatomy) but from her stories of when she was a nurse. She cares about the students when most professors don't.
