If she sees your this close to getting a B, she will give you a C. She will be your friend and she will help you for anything. But as for grades, she will visually see you go to every class, try your best and still not care about your GPA. Not really the coolest teacher but I guess she's fair.

The way she holds her class is very unorganized and confusing. My grades are always good but its towards the end of the semester and I really don't know what is going on because she just kind of rambles on about nothing and talks in circles the entire time

Stringer is a below average professor and judging by what other students have said I am clearly not alone in this observation. One student said she has favorites. True. It goes deeper than that though I have had suspicions of prejudice as well. I'll leave it at that. Simply put I would not want my child to take Stringers class but it's unavoidable.

Shes an unorganized, stubborn teacher. She lost TWO of my papers TWICE! I have a 3.2 GPA. I am not a bad student. But she is the worst teacher on campus. Im not the only one whos papers were lost either. Don't take her.

I thought she was fair, to say the least. The course was all writing, so you really had to work hard and stay on top of your deadlines. She gave extensions if she thought we needed them along with the very rare extra credit. A step up from Chiu, that's for sure. Overall, an ok course.

I had her for News Reporting. Its a lot of writing you have an assignment due almost every two weeks and theyre not tiny. You have to be serious about journalism or else your grade will take a toll. You must attend city council meetings and have the paper due that night. Its a lot of work. I thought she was helpful editing wise but not lecture wise

I consider myself a decent student. I go to class, do my work and keep out of trouble. But honestly I didn't learn ANTYHING in this class. If you have a choice, take it with someone else. She doesn't have clear lectures. It's a practical writing course, but you pretty much wing it without writing examples. The book doesn't help much either.

I don't understand these other ratings, but I really enjoyed Dr. Stringer. She is intelligent, but sometimes is not good at getting her ideas out. I enjoyed this class and didn't think the test were to bad. I would definitely take this class or other classes with her.

i don't even know how she became a prof. i didn't learn anything. she tried to teach grammar, while using incorrect grammar. i don't think anything in the class made sense. and the tests were horrible. not hard, just confusing. because she doesn't know what she was doing.
