She has learned how to explain assignments very clearly. Due dates are final, but she will change them if she is at fault. Class discussions can get off topic, but she tries hard to keep them civil and clean. She knows a lot, so you better know what you're talking about if you challenge her on something.

Great prof. She is misunderstood at RPI, mostly becasue she is a feminist. I think she is always willing to help you out, as long as you are willing to at least listen to what she has to say. And she is not unfair to you if you are male, that's BS!
