I learned more about his personal life from him than I did in psychology. At least I had the internet and the book. Class was mediocre at best.

Mikulay gives out a learning objectives sheet with everything that we could be tested on. Most things are covered in lecture, but some are not, so you need the book. He offers two extra credit assignments that potentially boost your grade half a letter grade. Even with very minimal studying, this class is easy to do well in.

Some student's withdraw from his introduction to psychology class the first day. He is too focused on teaching stories, rather than terms and definitions. His tests and homework are based off of rough definitions, but his teaching methods come from stories. He is a funny guy, I just don't understand his teaching methods like other students as well.

Professor Mikulay is one of the most sarcastic professors I've had. His lectures are great but you need to take good notes and really listen to what he's saying. You only have 4 homework assignments (1 for every unit), 4 tests, and 2 writing assignments. So you better do good on those few things or else you won't pass this class; which is stressful

I never saw this teacher stand for more than 5 minutes all semester. All he did was lecture from his chair. No in class work just note taking. This professor seems to hate his job and looks depressed every single day. Talks about problems with his wife. Hes funny at times, but pick a different teacher.

Do not skip class, you'll miss important info. READ THE BOOK! Some test questions are directly from the book. Don't be late on assignments and don't plagiarize. He's kind of weird and gives weird definitions but you learn to go with it. If you make it past the first test, you'll know what to do after and you'll do better. Tests are hard though.

This professor makes class very entertainment. Homework is not very difficult but test are tough and hard to understand. He is not accessible, if you have a question or concern, he wont talk to you in person, he only answer you through e-mail.

This professor is a bit odd but in a good way. His lectures are entertaining, coming from a person who sleeps a lot in classes, and you truly do end up learning if you just pay attention. One downside would be that he is somewhat of a tough grader, but honestly just take notes in his class and you will do just fine.

This guy brought a hammer to class. Everyone is laughing from the teachers jokes. Super funny and loves what he does. If you go to class and take notes you can easily get a C in the class. The 2 papers are the only thing that are hard and could bring your grade down. Only class I've taken this semester I can say I've really learned anything from!

The best teacher I have had so far at ECC. His lectures are fun and interesting. You don't need to read the book at all but make sure you study your notes. He gives two extra credit options throughout the semester, so make sure you take them. I would definitely recommend him, I plan on taking another one of his classes.

Overall he was an okay teacher, but he was such a harsh grader. Getting a hold of him was nearly impossible. It would take him at least two days to respond to emails, and sometimes he wouldn't respond at all.

Honestly, he makes class interesting and is very funny. But, I do everything he asks for assignments, study for tests and he's just a very tough grader and I've gotten nothing but horrible grades for this class. I wouldn't choose this professor due to his tough grading skills.

Shawn is by far one of the most interesting instructors at ECC. His lectures can be long but far from boring. He has jokes lol. Overall very specific on what you need to do. Tough grader because he knows what hes talking about. You will need the book.

Shawn did not reply to emails in a good time frame. He never gave me feedback even after I asked why I got a certain grade. Tests are confusing. I feel like I havent learn anything from this class

He wants you to LEARN the material, not memorize it. His sense of humor kept my attention the whole class! Overall, very chill dude. Don't dismiss reading the textbook or studying for this class. You will NOT pass if you do not read the textbook. Be a good student and you'll get a good grade. He is also attractive.

His lectures were hilarious, gave clear detail, and were very helpful. You don't have to study too much for his class, but you definitely have to show up.
