In my opinion this is one of the best professors I have ever had. looked out of curiosity to see what others thought and I am baffled why people dont like him, granted he is a little unorganized I know when I was in his class he was out of the country every weekend so obviously that makes sense. but really brilliant man his book is pretty good too

He is SO unorganized. Right now it is two days before the final and he hasn't posted up the lecture slides (he said he would) and the TA's didn't even know what they were supposed to write for the final...I've emailed him at least 4 times and he never responds. I remind him in person and he still doesn't do anything. He is so lazy.

Yes, he is a bit intimidating but brilliant, funny and (and hot in a distinguished-manly way)I've never been so challenged by readings, but pushing yourself out of your comfort zone is how you grow. If you couldn't tolerate his class, don't ever go to grad school.

He is so very boring. BUT lecture to me was fine compared to the discussions.. Even though the lectures were 3 hours I was able to suck it up and go. As for the discussions, he made us get in groups and discuss conflicts on campus which was really useless and annoying. Maybe it's because i'm not used to this but I did not like this class at alll...

Professor Rosenberg is extremely boring and lazy. I did not learn anything in his class. During lecture, he only rambles on and on about useless information. His TAs do all the work and he just sits back and relaxes. I absolutely do not recommend him!

He is a super boring lecturer. And the powerpoints are really useless, just take notes on what he says (although he goes off on tangents most of the time, and his voice is kind of monotonous so its easy to get distracted or fall asleep). the discussion was interesting though. Overall not a hard class, but just be prepared for boredness.

great class, great professor. in response to the previous comments, you can't blame him if you get a bad grade since he's not the one that does the grading. if you get a bad grade and you don't think it's your fault then blame the TAs. they're the ones that grade everything.

the BEST professor I've had so far! great lecturer, plus he doesn't just regurgitate the book like most profs...he actually draws from his own research/experience. doesn't believe in multiple choice tests which works out great in the end, just consult your TAs for stuff since they're the ones that do the grading.

Very good lectures. You definately learn a lot. But he is the biggest prick alive. He struts around like he is God. His grading is very unfair. I worked really hard only to get a C. He makes his poor TA do everything.
