Dr. Kennison is the coolest person ever. Her classes are so though provoking and make me want to study cognitive science even as just a business major. We talked about artificial intelligence, savants, and how the brain responds to different situations. I took the honors section and the class was still very simple and engaging. Awesome class!

Ignore all the bad reviews about Dr. Kennison. She's a great professor and I've had her for both Psych of Humor (online) and Cognitive Science (in class). She knows her material and loves teaching it to the class. I highly recommend her psych of humor class. It is super interesting and you learn a lot. She's an awesome professor.

The tests are a little hard, there's only a midterm and final. She takes random roll for points. The class can be boring but you can get a good grade as long as you do all of the discussion points, the two 1,000 word papers and other assignments.

lectures were not worth my time but i just couldn't let myself skip. textbook isnt much help when it comes to studying, very hard to be prepared for tests. however, she does give out study guides which helps.

By far the most helpful & considerate instructor I've ever had. Her online courses are set up very well, I never felt overwhelmed, yet always felt as if I was learning. There are short weekly quizzes and two papers to write, which she makes sure are fun to write and is an easy grader. I have loved every course I've taken with her.

She is an incredibly nice woman who is under-appreciated during class. She has a funny voice, but what she says is usually very witty. She cares about the students, even though they don't take the class seriously. She's very into sci-fi, so if you like that genre, you'll love the class. There are attendance points and the assignments are easy.

Kennison wrote the Language Development book and likes to use it. The class can be dull, but the topics are actually interesting. Mrs. Kennison will talk about anything you're interested in. She's flexible in her lesson plan. You will have to write two papers, take 10 online quizzes, and give one presentation. The only test is a take-home final.
