Dr. Tu is, frankly, quite bad at his job. He often waits until near the end of the semester to give out major projects. And he expects you to have knowledge that isn't listed in the prerequisites . . . don't expect him to grade any lighter because of that. The homework, sparsely given, does not at all prepare you for his tests. Avoid if possible.

Tu is well known for the notably excessive work load that comes with his courses. His homework assignments were lengthy, but were later revealed to be near worthless in the grading scale. His tests are long and the curve on them was never properly explained. Much of the class hinges on a single project that is done with a partner. Be prepared.

He's kind of hard to understand and talks off topic alot! but as long as you do the labs, and take your midterm and final you'll be golden. If you actually want to learn something this may not be the right teacher, but if you have basic computer knowledge go for it!

It's like I have been living in a Nightmare for 4 months. Do NOT take this course. I am not joking or the only one I've talked to that feels that way. The amount of material for the final is 5 times more that my other classes combined. As a matter of fact don't take Tu for any graduate level course.
