Comment:
Dr. Begres is very intimidating at first, but if you are respectful and take the class seriously, she reveals herself to be a very friendly and helpful person. She can be a bit cynical, but this usually just makes class entertaining. Be sure to have something intelligent to say before you speak, and don't use "like" incorrectly.

Comment:
She picks favorites. If you ever say the word "like" even when used properly, she hates you and shoots you with a nerf gun when available. She is extremely difficult to work with, and if you have a different perspective than her, even if you have evidence to back it up, she will say that you are wrong. Also, she hates Jesus, don't mention him.

She is one of the tougher core profs but she really cares about her students. She gives a pretty big workload - 2 two page journals and 2 one page journals due every week. But as long as you put a lot of work into her class, you'll get a lot out of it. She grades for both writing and understanding of the philosphy.

AHHHHH! This was a very rough way to start core. She openly admitted this was the hardest unit she teaches. She is a very tough grader and wants things exactly her way. She is very willing to help as much as you want though, makes it hard to hate her.

This is the teacher who wouldnt accept my paper a day late because I was in the emergency room. This is the same teacher who took off points for not participating during my stay in the hospital. This is the teacher who yelled at me for proving her wrong. I hope that it rains some time soon. Her nose is so far in the air she'll drown.

She has an ego like woah, but if you can put up with that you'll do fine. Just pretend to agree with her. Pretty eay workload, but I kinda think she likes giving out low grades just to knock you down a notch. She'll use any excuse to give the perfect paper a B.

This was the hardest class I ever took. The subject material is pointless unless you are into philosophy. The book was a waste of money. I didn't understand one word. Somehow, I managed to get an A even though the grade is based on 4 tests only. She does bumped up your grade to the next letter if you are borderline though. Take notes & study a lot.

Liked her a lot. She lectures a lot, but the work load isn't too bad and she makes fun of stupid people and stupid things. Very liberal and doesn't like people who don't agree with her.

Horrible woman, Doesn't want to help. Expects you to know everything before taking the class. I use to love art and philosophy... She pretty much told me I was dumb on a daily basis.

The class is philosophy of art. Dr. B is a nice enough woman, but is completely un-open to ANY suggestions, unless theyre some retarded question about what shes lecturing on. This entire class is based on 4 tests, and only that. This woman is a pain, and I won't be taking a class with her, EVER!

Evil. Unclear. Rude and snappy. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I don't pay for my education to sit in a class and be intimidated by someone who belittles students. I saw her spend too much class time arguing with students who had views different from hers.
