Do not take this class with her. Very unclear in regards to homework. Doesn't seem to like to answer questions. Doesn't do her own marking which leads to lower marks due to being marked by someone else's criteria. Her highlighting guidelines are ridiculous. Considering the course, she expects an awful lot without teaching it.

Do not take this class! I took it because I was nervous about college and I thought it would help. But it doesn't! I regreted taking it the first day of class. It's a waste of time and money because it's not transferable. Seriously, don't take it. You'll be better of without it.

This is the worst class that I have ever taken. Only take this class if you have no idea what college is. This class is made for people who have not been in school for 20 years and it is a complete waste of time for those of us who actually use our common sense. She is an unclear and not helpful at all. Don't take this class!!! I am warning you.

Very nice teacher, knows her stuff. I learned a lot from her, she definately improved my GPA. I really recommend taking this class with her if you are coming straight from high school, she will give you a wayyyy better idea of what to expect from college and how to get the grades you want.

Mrs. Gibbons is a good teacher, her class is all right. (even though there were only ten people in her class) She really likes to stress the importance of "highlighting" and "researching" methods. Her class is extremely easy. All you have to do is the work and you're almost bound to get an average of a B, or in some cases an A.

Really cares about her students. Strongly believes what she is teaching is important. Class was slightly pointless, but if you attend regularly and complete all assignments, it's an easy way to boost your GPA. Talks about her family a lot. She can be vague on lecture details, but a nice lady.

Makes you feel like you are in the grad 4 special class. The entire course was insulting. We did highlighting for 3 weeks. Summarizing for 2 more and then went to bibliographies. Very little was helpful. A lot of pointless work.

Such a nice and very helpful lady.The perfect teacher for this class.Study for the little quizzes because they will affect you.Although she was a hard marker on the final paper she still was a great teacher.I also recomend taking this rather useful course

Gibbons as most of you know yaks too long but she does specify work and exams very clearly. So even the dumbest pot-head can understand her. One major problem is most of the things she teaches isn't very useful or she doesn't go in to much detail about it
