I absolutely love Sister Johnson. She led her class with the spirit, combining doctrine with personal stories. I learned a ton about the new testament, especially about the symbolism of various things. I will say the tests were harder than I expected, and the reading could be time consuming. Overall,I felt the spirit and loved what I learned.

Sister Johnson is very nice, but her class is not very good. The tests have many questions that have multiple answers that look correct. The study guide and powerpoints are little to no help. I can't tell what's considered important or what I need to know.

Worst religion class I've taken. Teaches opinions as doctrine and never very clearly. I did not feel like I learned much doctrine. She dictates your personal scripture study. Test expectations unclear - study guide is vague and worthless. 30 min reading forces you to read same chapter repeatedly and graded on whether you gain new spiritual insights

She is an angel! The sweetest teacher you will ever have and one of the most brilliant religion teachers too. She knew my name before I even came to class! Her reading/assignments are easy and there is no reason why you should not do well in this class. Go to class, take notes, read and you will be fine. Best BYU religion professor hands down.

It was such a spiritual and beautiful class. As a non-member, I could easily understand the concepts sister Johnson explained to us (using real-life examples) and felt her love for the gospel and Jesus in every class. I love her and the class! Tests & journal assignments are easy, yet helpful.

*She is a saint. She is one of the sweetest, nicest, most caring and spiritual people I have ever met. I felt the Spirit very strongly every time I attended her class, and I really liked her way of grading. The study journal she had us do was very helpful for me, and I learned something every time I attended her class. She is the best.

Easy class, she is a good teacher, some may find her less interesting than others. She loves her class, she knows most of the students names by the first day, she also will help work with you for anything. Great class, Great teacher, and a good grade while learning how to journal-journaling attendance etc=70% of grade

This class was not good at all. There was absolutely no point to the class and the way we studied the Book of Mormon was trivial at best. The class is easy, but you won't learn anything valuable in this class. Choose a different professor.

I like her and her class was good but her tests were ridiculous! Even if you do the study guides they don't help that much. I spent a lot of time doing the study guide for the final and half the study guide wasn't on the test and half the test wasn't on the study guide. And some of the questions were ridiculous. The daily reading saved my grade

She's a spiritual woman. The only thing I frustrated a lot is that she gives a lot of spiritual experiences rather than the actual facts in the scriptures. I didn't learn as much!!!

Although I only got a 70% on the first exam, I still got an A because of her 30min BoM a day and keeping a study journal. Make sure you prepare for exams with the study guide. I loved her, but I thought that she has many tricky questions in her exams. But as I said, I still got an A in this class.

Sister Johnson is a really nice lady. Her class is really eas if you do the reading which is thirty minutes a day and write in your journal. If you do that you've pretty much got an A. On the ther hand, don't expect to learn a whole ton because it is very much like a primary sunday school class.

I guess it's just me, but I really, really didn't enjoy this class at all. Sure, it's pretty easy. But it feels like a high school seminary class. I'm positive she has the same stories/lessons in each of her classes, she just waits for an opportunity to tie it into the Book of Mormon. Teaches own doctrine/stuff she just comes up with.

Sis. Johnson is a superstar. Fantastic professor with amazing insights to the Book of Mormon. I learned so much! Definitely take a class from Sis. J! She knows her background and has very fair tests if you take good in-class notes.

Sister Johnson made the class very simple. We had to read everyday 30 minutes. We were graded on four assignments the entire semester: 2 reading logs and 2 tests (including the final). Her tests were all multiple choice and not hard at all. You do not need to be an intense RM to do well on her tests.

Sister Johnson is a pretty good teacher whose class is pretty dang easy. The tests are pretty hard, and I've got the Book of Mormon nearly memorized, but they're worth less than 1/3 of your grade, so as long as you show up and do your reading you're guaranteed a B.

She is amazing! Her teaching style is great. She uses slides and puts them on blackboard. That's pretty much what she bases her tests off of. You need to read 30 minutes every day and write in a journal but that's not bad. I feel the spirit in her class every single class period. She definitely teaches by the spirit. If you can, DEFINITELY get her!
