Awesome class! There's a midterm, final, 2 discussion posts a week and optional extra paper. The exams are self-paced and always available which really helped me. She answered emails fast and seemed nice.

If I knew I was going to only be graded on my midterm, and final I wouldn't of taken her class. Personally I struggled with this class because I'm a bad test taker. As long as you do the readings you'll be fine.

Professor Rosenthal is awesome! She gives you good feedback and responds to her emails in a timely matter. Also, she does not require you to take your essays to the writing center because you can easily email to her before the due date and she will give you feedback. You only have to write three essays for the whole semester.

Overall the class was easy. I did get behind on the reading, but that was my own fault working full time and being a full time student. Overall, her class was a pleasure. Easy format: do the reading, make a discussion post and response, and complete a midterm and exam. She also offers a 40 pt Extra Credit paper to make up points. LOVED her class.

Awesome readings. This professor is very nice. Midterm and final are posted from Day 1, You can work on them at your own pace as you do the reading. I recommend this. Two discussion posts a week. One is yours and the other is a reply to another student. Relatively unstructured class. She'll give feedback on your exam answers if you ask her to.

Professor Rosenthal is by far the NICEST teacher I've had. Whoever says she isn't probably failed. One of the 1st classes i took at CSN, the midterm and final are are accessible ahead of time and you can work ahead as you read! Super easy, uses the textbook, and class goes by quickly. Impossible not to get an A... just participate!

Easy easy easy class!!!!! You have one discussion post a week due online on something in the reading and a response to a class mate. The midterm and final are only 20 questions long. The readings can easily be googled in the event you do not have time to study/read the text. Very easy class! Taking her again for English 232.

This was by far the easiest online class I have ever taken. You have one assignment a week, it is a discussion post that is based off of your readings. You also have a mid term that is based off of the books you have already read for the class! You have access to the midterm and final right when the class starts! I highly recommend this teacher!

Rosenthal is the coolest English teacher at CSN and is also the best. TAKE HER!!! she explains everything and is extremely helpful and understanding. Great sense of humor. JUST do your work and stay on track and you will get a good grade. I wish i can take her for English 242, but it will conflict with my spring semester.

One of the best professors I've ever had. Her class has a fun, laid back vibe. She gets to the point and never teaches anything you don't need to know. She is honest about which text books you really need. She gives you every opportunity to succeed in her class and offers extra credit as well. She also provides great feed back on papers.

She is by far the BEST English teacher hands down!!!!!! She wont let you fail. She works with you. She is very understanding. I would highly recommend her! She knows her stuff!!! You will NOT be disappointed. I would take more of her classes, but I need to take other classes to transfer. English 235/236 was enough for me!

This class can improve writing skills. Easy A, 3 Essays and you can use 1 from another class, with improvements. caring and concerned for her students and their individual educational goal the assignments can be tailored towards your goals. If you are looking for a class with no pressure and improves your writing skills take her class.

There are 3 essays and weekly discussions. Essay 1 was about a movie we watched in class. Essay 2 you had to read one of 3 books and write about it. Essay 3 was kind of a free write. Taz Gives great feedback. The discussions are REAL easy. She gave us extra credit opportunities. 20% of your grade is attendance,but if you miss class you'll survive.

ONLINE COURSE Overall, this is a good professor. The work is very easy. The midterm and the final can take a few hours to complete so do not save it until the last minute. It is better if you work on it over a few days. The only thing that I disliked is that there was no feedback whatsoever and when I asked for feedback; I got nothing.

Taz was very laid back she's very kind and respectful. She let's you turn in a rough draft so you can get her feedback before you paper is due. She does extra credit almost everytime your paper is due. No tests or exam and no text book just a regular library book.
