One of the best professors ever. Willing to go above and beyond to help you out. If you're a hard worker you will do good in her classes, but if you just do the bare minimum to get by, you won't because she really pushes her students since she wants them to do the best they can. Really funny, quick grader, gives great feedback, very caring.

She can be VERY annoying, so get on her good side from day 1. She will force you to participate in class discussions, which heavily impacts your grade, so speak up! She will give low grades; I was the highest in the class and ended up with a B+. Just Sparknotes or Shmoop all the books and talk a lot in class. Also, meet with her to discuss papers!!

Dr Goodman has an open door policy where she allows anyone to come in and speak to her about their work and their current standing. Unbeknownst to me, she judged me as someone who only cares to do "B" level work and didn't give me feedback to do better. That was completely unfair.
