Comment:

Postman comes off as rude, but she just takes some warming up to. She's funny and she can explain the content well, even if she can be pretentious at times. Participation is key to getting on her good side. Exams are pretty simple, but she grades them tough. Be prepared for her thick New York accent and her Barcelonan lisp when she speaks.

Hardest teacher ever. Her Spanish can be difficult to understand at times. Be ready to take notes. Try to avoid taking her if you can. A lot of kids dropped or failed. she will mark points off exam for the dumbest reasons. Highly dont recommend anyone taking her. RUN AWAY!

She's very sarcastic but borderline disrespectful.I've seen her rip some kids apart. Some people love her and some hate her. I took spanish 2-4 with her but had to drop 4 because she made it incredibly hard. Take her if you've taken spanish before or else it will be very difficult. She's not helpful and very intimidating.

Had her for Spanish IV...Not nearly as bad as she is made out to be..Her tests have little, easily-overlooked nuances that can pose some trouble...Participation is 33%, so get involved! If you took Spanish in high school or did I-III here, you should be okay...Is pleasant enough once you show that you are working hard...Good sense of humor!

I loved this class. I think she is so funny. I knew alot of Spanish going in, and am doing well in her class. She makes things that I forget very easy to remember. She makes fun of everyone, but its a helpful way of having people remember. I recommend her. Its a bit of work and studying, but its not bad.

Appears to constantly be on the rag. She is terribly rude and seems to believe that her status as professor permits her to mock and verbally mistreat her students. Stay awake or you will probably fail- class participation, not just attendance, is 33% of your grade.

I LOVE HER!! she is so funny, I've taken 2 classes with her and loved them both, sure I didn't do so well, but it was a fun class in fact my favorite class all semester, she has a thick new york accent and is very sarcastic.. LOVE HER!

I loathe this woman. She's nasty and extremely sarcastic. She pronounces the words weird(I had a native Spanish speaker teach me some Spanish previously in high school). DON'T take if this is your first time taking Spanish, she expects you to know a lot. She basically calls you stupid in front of whole class. Avoid her at all costs. I got a B+.

Not the most helpful teacher and will not repeat oral questions more then once but thats it. If you have never taken spanish do not take her. People in my class had taken it all through high school and still struggled. I deserved to fail but she did not provide any help or assistance. When I asked she just said write sentences over and over.

Mixed feelings. I feel that she can be very rude and sarcastic to the point that you dont want to ask questions or participate because she will insult you. My feelings are mixed. She is very sarcastic and (to me) hilarious, but I'm probably failing the class. She assigns homework almost every session, gives the hardest tests, and speaks with a strange [Spaniard] Spanish accent (c+z = "th"). But she does cancel class a lot :]

Horrible. Made me feel like a piece of crap in front of the whole class. If you ask her a question, she'll probably call you stupid. Not approchable AT ALL.
