If you are interested in Humanitarianism you will love this class. It is very dense and requires you to pay attention to the reading to participate in class. She keeps note cards with everyone's names and will mark down participation as well as phone/computer usage, she's not afraid to call you out for it either! Overall very informative class.

Her lectures are easy to understand and although there is reading involved you can pass without reading. Just be ready to participate. And theres a major group project at the end make sure you don't wait until last minute to do it

She is textbook and lecture heavy. She won't post the powerpoints online and therefore attending class is mandatory. Really knows her stuff about Latin America, but depending on the person she may seem too passionate (that's not a bad thing). Her quizzes are online and are about the reading. She gives you a time limit of 20 minutes.

I took global issues with this teacher and there is alot of readings in her class. The review guides are very vague so you have to study alot for the test. Very nice teacher just have to stay on top of your work.

Knowledgable, fairly straightforward, supportive of your particular interests, and, with a few possible exceptions, relatively open-minded concerning political discourse.

she's fantastic, make sure you come to class a majority of the time, and at least put an effort in. She knows her stuff...
