Her class is pretty, hard you can always count on having something to do for her class whether its journals actually papers, or reading for the reading quiz. often theses things will piled up on each other. Its an extremely stressful class and lead to a lot of all nighters. I love english but this class was just terrible and Mrs. Wood isn't helpful

She's so hard!! There are so many papers and she never gives you a well enough explanation on what exactly to do with the projects. Definitely made me stressed out my first semester of college. :(

Way to much busy work and almost felt babied by her. Papers were graded extremely hard and when you think you turn in a good paper, there is red ink all over it. Very boring and extremely dry. Also one of the only teachers I have ever had that uses some turn it in website that is ridiculous.

Definitely would not recommend. She talks SO incredibly much, most of the time getting off topic onto something that doesn't even relate to the class. It's all busy work, what she wants is very unclear, and the class is just ridiculously boring. It's the most uninteresting English class I've ever had, and I love English.

Ms. Wood gives 5 projects, one right after another. No break. You have to take a quiz on bb from each chapter, which gets annoying. She grades easily for the most part except project 4. Sometimes she will talk and talk and talk about random stuff. You can miss 4 classes and it won't affect your grade. Overall take her.

LOVE Ms Wood. She is so sweet. I do believe she picks favorites though but just get on her good side and you'll be fine. On all 3 papers so far I've gotten 93 or above. Easy grader. Does give some busy work but it's easy to do. Take her!

Great English Professor! She's really helpful and clear with what she expects throughout the semester. She also provides excellent feedback for the three papers you write for the semester.You're only allowed five absences though, after the fifth you lose a letter grade(I think). I definitely recommend taking her.

Great teacher! Enjoys her job. Gives quizzes from the book to help boost grades. Tough projects but if you are willing to devote a little time, a good grade is possible for anyone. Takes attendance. Currently have a solid A in this class.

I am pretty sure she would have a difficult time teaching middle schoolers and I really don't know how she is teaching at a university. Cool class. It is a lot of work but the projects are not as bad as they are cracked up to be. If you pour your soul into it you will get an A. She is strict when it comes to grading so put in a lot and you will get a lot out of the class. She is very mellow too. If your major doesn't require this class don't take it, it is Scientific Writing.

She is nice, but her constant grin and flipping of her hair REALLY ANNOYED ME. She isn't clear on her demands, but I did not do one of the projects that was worth 30% of our grade, and she let me turn in parts of it late and I still got a C in the class somehow.
