She is a really nice lady but the class is 35% of a paper and she doesn't give you much information about the first draft. If you're a good writer you will get a good grade! One mid term and a final. Participation is 15% so make sure you're talking in class.

She teaches KIN classes, if you don't show up, you don't pass. I took her Sailing class and her Rowing class. Both were fun but the midterms and finals were challenging. In her Sailing class I only got a B because I did bad on the quizzes and stuff. She's a cool person though and I would take any of her classes again.

WOW! A 'B' in kayaking! This grade was due to the long and hard final! I showed up for all the trips, except one, read the handbook, participated, etc. Be forewarned that this class is not for the typical broke college student---I spent over $50 on this class in parking fees, class fee, and gas alone. Great workout, but not worth the distances.

Loved learning about rowing. Reekie was very inspiring, encouraging, supportive, passionate, great instructor, and has a great sense of humor! I look forward to taking another one of her classes! She sees the potential in people. She will push you to work hard! great experience rowing with Reekie!

word to the wise don't take 2 classes w/her. she's really cool, but really hard when it comes to grading papers. for 100W it just one big fat paper, for 160 its one 10 pg. paper, 1 presentation, midterm & final. 160 is really interesting, she makes it fun, but must come to class and stay awake!

I'm in love with this woman. Erudite, slyly witty and highly articulate...EXCELLENT professor, easily the best in the kines department. Expect to work, but damn, she makes it enjoyable!
