Crazy hard second half. Everything on Maple, and he never actually goes over concepts. He throws you into a lab to figure out what to do on a confusing program before even speaking of the material. Math major and barely passed. Ridiculous

Calc II. A great guy, and not a bad teacher, but his tests are very long and pretty challenging. If you want to do well you have to practice all the types of problems for the test, which will often be 5 weeks of material. If you don't do that then its easy to get a 75 on the exam :(

Very funny, but did not comprehend that his students did not understand the material. This class is required for my major and I am now forced to take it again to raise my grade. Definatly taking it with another prof.

Teacher was very difficult. He consistantly used Maple 11 and taugh everything by this program and expected the students to take the test by hand. Teacher was difficult, tests were extremely hard. Would not recommend him for any of his classes.

He never explains what we have to do, and he is an AWFUL grader. As a math teacher I can see him being okay, but as a core professor- Choose someone Else!! He looks like Mark Twain and is just as boring.

I love Si! He's 'wildly exciting'! All of our tests and quizzes were open note, and even the final was open note! He couldn't have made the class any easier!
