I really liked Dr. Haude's class I took her for the Reformation class and I loved it. I really enjoyed her class. She's very nice, clear, and happy to help if you ask. If you have the option to take an oral exam do it, she's really great to talk to and it's significantly easier than the written exams

Professor Haude is the best kind of teacher-she focuses in on one subject during class, but then helps you with an individual research project of your own interest. She set clear deadlines and checkpoints that were very helpful with the long term research paper, and created a hospitable and collegial scholarly environment for discussion every week.

Professor does not follow reading from the book. Most discussion and quizzes are on primary source material only available online. Does not provide an accurate course guide with reasonable expectations. Did not encourage interactive participation among class. Would not recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn about European History.

Not a very good teacher at all. Took a freshman seminar and nothing was explained about the final paper, which is graded very hard. She does send out emails but the lecture was very monotonous and repeating. I highly discourage anyone from taking her class.

I will admit she is helpful in that she emails you the night before what the in class writing assignment will be about the next day, but the class itself is a drag. I had her for a seminar class and would not recommend it at all. She can't get the class to talk and she goes nowhere with her discussion. It was the same thing everyday...

I did not enjoy this class at all. Attendance is mandatory. She does in class writing assignments over sources online. Does not speak loud and clear. Has an accent. Would not recommend.

Make sure you buy the textbook for this class. You will be using it a lot. Always review the material prior to coming to class, which is mandatory as there are written class exercises as well as an oral participation grade. She expects you to discuss the material with her. She is a lenient grader along with her TAs, but always come prepared.

Very tough class, I studied and did everything required. This is definately not a freshman course and talking to other students they had worse grades than I did. Her lectures don't help on the exams and the paper she had us wrote had nothing to do with history except for it was about a story written during the time period.

This woman is so boreing she skips around the text which makes it confusing in terms of chronological order of events. TA's grade all over the place. Many students leave before the end of class (bad manners) but when your suffering its a wrap.
