I absolutely love her! Her class is amazing and is always interesting. She sometimes even incorporates games into the class. She is a super nice lady and I would totally take another one of her classes if I wasnt moving soon!

I took this class accelerated, which means more work in a shorter amount of time. It was a lot of work, but if you are prepared and plan, you can do it! Prof. Wright is a great teacher! She is approachable and understanding. I am a single mom with two kids and there was a time or two when I needed an extension and she allowed me extra time.

The class is required, but she made it interesting for me. She wants you to write about topics you care about, but you better have more then an opinion. She wants you to make a point and explain it, with evidence. Do that and your good.

This was a 5 week online summer class, so it was very intense but manageable. All the readings, discussion boards, quizzes, and essays were placed on blackboard at the beginning of the course, so you could work ahead if needed. Professor Wright gave wonderful feedback and graded fairly. I would definitely take another class with her.

If you apply what you should have learned in Eng101 you will do well. The pace of the class (shortened summer session) was hectic, with work due most weekdays, but it was manageable, particularly if you worked ahead when possible. She gave plenty of time to write the essays. I learned how to read and appreciate poetry, which I thought impossible.

Professor Wright's class was more work then I originally thought it would be and she is a real stickler about using MLA style but I also learned more then I expected to and really enjoyed her insights.

I had a great experience in this class, and with this professor. The essay's can be challenging, but she offers plenty of really helpful feedback to help you achieve a great paper. Though you have to work for your A, it's not impossible, and I would definitely work with this professor again.

A lot of the essay prompts were confusing, gradebook needed to be corrected multiple times. Did allow extensions but is an impossible grader. Huge headache.

She is thorough with assignments and grading; however, there can be some confusion on the assignments-there might be 2 separate instruction sheets(for example). I think she genuinely cares about english/writing and if you apply yourself and *seem* passionate about it, you will do well.

Worst teacher I've bad yet. She is never clear on what she wants done for essays. She never emails back especially when it is an urgent question about essays. Even if you email way in advance you won't hear back till after it's due. Never consistent with her work. A lot of attitude when it came to giving feedback. Harsh grader.

Don't take her if you're a loser and just want a grade. Knock on her door, though, and she'll spend an hour trying to help you out. Avoid her if you want an "easy A." Take her if you want to write your heart out and get great feedback.

here's the thing: you NEED to show interest even if you don't genuinely feel it. it gets you on her good side. assignments are extremely unclear, however, she's very willing to help and good at responding to emails. lecture is boring and she's a strange woman but overall really does want students to succeed. tedious grader. watch your grammar.

Definitely a tough cookie. She will not accept a lazy or late student. I learned so much in her class. Out of every professor I have had so far, Siobhan Wright is the best! I strongly suggest taking her class!

Not a good teacher. If you have the option to take a class with another teacher, DO IT! I have always gotten along with my teachers, but I have never met someone so rude and condescending. Very tough grader. Another student in my class go into a car accident on her way to our class, and she would not accept her paper at all for any credit.

I took Mrs.Wright on line and for the most part she was very helpful but as a warning she is a tough grader, fair but tough. No late work is accepted no matter what the situation and knowing grammar in her class is essential. She will help you if you need it she's very knowledgeable but she is not an easy teacher at all.

We started off on the wrong foot, but I found I was mistaken after handing in the 2nd paper, she's actually a great professor. She does grade pretty strictly, an A paper has to be close to perfect, but if you're mature and write well, it's an easy B for the class.

I took this class as a high school student and it was extremely easy, if you show up to class and turn things in on time, you are almost guaranteed to pass. She really cares about her students and knows whats she is talking about
