Dr. Brill was a very kind professor and made it clear that he was accessible outside of the classroom. The course itself is very interesting, and the debates can be fun. It was a great class if you are interested in the content, but a lot of people who didn't really care were still able to pass. I would recommend this course and professor!

Brill is okay. I definitely would not say he is the best prof at FSU. Classes are lecture HEAVY. Better be ready to take notes because he does not post PowerPoints on BB. For a 100 level class, it was extremely difficult. Would not recommend this course for someone just wanting an easy A.

i don't know what these other kids are talking about, but this guy was an absolute horror. he's perhaps the most boring professor i've ever heard speak in my life. if you decide to take this class for whatever reason, bring plenty of adderall 'cause you'll need it. i wanted to shoot my own **** off the very first day i was there. DROP IT

Contemporary Ethical Issues...in all my years of school...he's the best professor I've ever had. It was a very challenging class, only because he really made you dig deep into your thoughts and expected a lot out of his students. I learned a lot in his class. He's one of the very few teachers I stay in touch with over time.

Dr. Brill is a class act. The class dealt with ethical dilemmas like abortion, and consequently there were countless times when students would make absolutely ridiculous statements. He always remained respectful and impartial regardless. Classes like his are the reason you go to college.

Outstanding professor. Tough class, but that's not a bad thing. The work is beneficial and you will come out a better person and better thinker. Brill may be the best professor I've ever had. Incredibly clear, well-spoken, and passionate. Interested in students' learning. Very gratifying to do good work and get an 'A' in his class.

Lectures alot! Very monotone voice which can make you pretty bored and sleepy during class. Take all notes put on the board or specifics he mentions in class. Multiple choice tests are difficult, but if you do well on the papers you can get a good grade.

Great teacher. Knows what he is talking about and will go to great lengths to answer any questions. You have to have an interest in the subject matter though, or else it can get very boring. He also resembles Jeff Foxworthy.
