I laughed and I was inspired pretty much every single day in this class. Fluhman was never afraid to "wrestle" with the tough subjects and the guy is just hilarious. Also, I learned a lot. #dancegang

Funny. However, his tests are 50% essay and 50% multiple choice. The multiple choice is not easy. He expects you to use all your notes to study for it and does not give you a helpful study guide. The essay is even worse. You have to be prepared with an outline of 25 possible subjects if you hope to stand a chance.

Prof. Fluhman is the best D&C teacher by far! He is incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I always felt the spirit in his class and the assignments were all easy and helped students grow spiritually. Written assignments due each week along with one midterm and the final. Tests are simple but confusing at times, making them a little difficult.

Fluhman is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is absolutely hilarious, and might be the most historically and religiouslly knowledgable man I have ever met. It is a hard class, but it was a great class.

Professor Fluhman is the best. I loved this class so much. There was an essay midterm and a final that is half essay and half multiple choice. There were two other essays on books that you read and a writing assignment each week (they are pass fail though). Make sure to include as much detail in the essays as you can because that is what he likes.

Professor Fluhman is a very entertaining teacher. He makes lectures interesting with his extremely high energy, thorough knowledge and side facts. His class is easy, if you do everything. There is quite a bit of reading and writing. An essay was due over the reading every class, but getting an A is quite manageable if you keep up. He's pretty great!

Great history class. Professor Fluhman really helped me love history. Very great in office hours to help students. TAKE YOUR ESSAY IDEAS TO HIM to review before writing midterm/final. Two easy essays per week. 2 essay midterm and 1 essay/multiple choice final. Hopefully he changes the multiple choice because they were diabolical.

Dr. Fluhman is AMAZING!! Very animated, enthusiastic and passionate about both the subject matter and teaching, which is a great combination. Work load is a little high for a 200 level class, but all the assignments are worthwhile and help you learn a lot. Definitely take this class from Dr. Fluhman! He is interesting and funny!!!

you have reading and a responce due before every class with a larger essay on a book due at midterm and finals. The Midterm was just two essays and everyone did very well the final was harder with multiple choice and an essay. Lectures are very engageing and he is quite funny. He is open to suggestions on changing course load such as essay length.

Professor Fluhman is the man. A professor doesn't get better than him. Hilarious, insanely intelligent, very open-minded, and all around a good man. Totally reasonable as far as grades and tests go. I've taken two classes from him and hope I can take more.

Take American Christianity from Professor Fluhman! He is hilarious and energetic yet I always walk away inspired. Tests can be a tad tricky but other than that, reasonable work for a two credit class. And he adjusts bad questions! One of the best professors I've ever had

Dr. Fluhman reminds me of Brian Regan a bit, he is hilarious! He is one tough teacher though. Work hard and you'll do fine. He is flexible to consensus and will grade on a curve if the test proves too hard. We were his first UT HIST class he taught yet, but I say he did very well.

Honestly, Professor Fluhman has been the best professor I've had here at BYU. His tests are hard, but I've never felt the spirit so frequently in his class. He knows the doctrine incredibly well, and knows how to tie in the context of revelations with the text itself. I plan on doing whatever it takes to take the second of D&C from him.

Great professor. Brings a lot of energy to class and is passionate about the material. His lectures were very thought-provoking and I found myself thinking about the ideas outside class. Grading is fair (one midterm for which he gives a good study guide) and assignments are useful (10 short essays during the semester).
