Chaka is a good professor. He gives you lots of examples so you know exactly what to do. There is a lot of group work so make sure your group members work well. Be sure you know exactly what he wants in reports or you will not do well at all. Typically he spells it all out for you though.

very helpful prof. this was my first class in prob/stats and i did great. he asks you to fill out daily evaluations to ask questions/get clarification. two final projects worth 30% of grade, but they were a breeze. highly recommended prof.

Chakravarthy is brilliant, but not a good professor. He is hard to understand and follow. He often confuses the students and does not know how to convey the information to the students. Get cribs for his test, or you will fail!! You will learn more from the cribs or other students than you will learn from him.

If your an IE this prof is good. He only gives a midterm, term project and a final, assigns in class exercises every lecture as a team, and is very liberal in terms of grading (curves everything). HE KNOWS HIS STUFF!! Very helpful in getting answers to q's, and one of the better profs here in GMI.

Worst professor I've ever had. He knows a lot but he doesn't know how to teach. Grades depending on the person so be sure he likes you and he will help you. he is rude to some students and always complain about everything. he is not helpful at all. He is never willing to help.

He's alright, has a personal curve so it's good to go ask questions even if you don't have them. Easy to get a hold of, always checks his email. Did not stay on schedule, felt rushed towards the end. Overall, he's ok.
