Very knowledgeable, excellent communicator, realistic worldview, brilliant understanding of history and its impact on culture, a wonderful solution to the Gordon bubble, the unsung hero of the music dept. Take every class he offers: he makes you work, but the gain is incomparable. Pelkey rocks!

I think he is just trying to get people going, but it is still frustrating at times...he also says things in class that are not always true- especially with generalizations... try to overlook this and focus elsewhere. He likes to make you mad. Don't let him.
