It is truly unfortunate that Stanley is retiring at the end of this year. On the first day of class he had won over my heart and has become probably my favorite professor at this damn school. His lectures are always entertaining and informative, and while he is old of age he is probably younger than the rest of us at heart. We will Miss you Hughes!

He is THE coolest prof here. Especially when he realizes he just cursed or said something that he shouldn't have (like that someone was "easy" as in easy to be around). He will get flustered and funny. He knows his stuff and how to present it in a fun way that makes you want to learn! Very fair grader and offers EC on exams.

Hughes is the best! He is soo funny and nice. He makes class a blast. He is very good at what he does. If you see him outside of class, he knows you and will talk to u about anything. He is a great guy n really knows what he is doing. Definitly take him for lab!!!

Oh Stanley Hughes, how i love thee!!! Hes a great teacher, i loved spending my thursday nights with him in psych lab. Hes really understanding and personable. Also, when i see him eating at the Union he is always so nice and stops to talk with his student.
