Dr. Brandle is a great professor, and he will take all the time in the world to help you if you ask for it. His classes tend to be easy, though, as it is quite simple to get him to explain any homework by just asking about it.

The class was rather disorganized, but he's been taking in a lot of feedback and I think the course will improve greatly in the next year or two. He's one of the nicest profs I've had, and would easily take a class with him again.

He's extremely aware of each student's strengths/weaknesses and tries to accommodate to each individual by giving examples that everyone can understand (as long as you're paying attention). His lectures blend class material with life lessons and constantly provides opportunities for you to seek further engagement with the department.

Dr. Brandle is great! He definitely makes you work and learn for yourself (purposefully), but is one of the most helpful and caring professors to approach outside of class. He'll spend hours helping you catch up if you need it. Difficult tests, but they definitely focus on helping you learn and not just slamming you.

This was a tough course. It is designed to teach you how to figure stuff out yourself so it may seem like he isn't helpful at times, but if you actually go to him he will do whatever it takes to help you understand and pull you through the class. He is very lenient on grading and due dates. allows retakes on tests!

Wonderful professor if you're willing to put in a reasonable effort. You learn a lot in his class, and the assignments are interesting and (mostly) clear, and he's always willing to help. He is interesting and knowledgeable in many fields, which can be his biggest problem: he gets too excited sometimes and has trouble focusing on just one topic.

This class was only the second programming class I ever took and I hated it. He made us use a book he published that would describe a problem we had to code and give no further direction. We would spend 3-4 days coding and it would be due and then afterward discuss it. Brandle alone made me change my major. WORST CompSci prof ever.
