Not a very good teacher, doesn't know how to use technology at all. Learn/ understand the lecture problems he does in class for midterm/ final. MINI EXAMS are multi choice only 4-5 questions, but have 8 choices

I'm an outlier. Most people seem to struggle with this class. (But hey, it's physics. I cried my first semester in a real physics class too.) Understand the homework to get an ideal of what will be on the miniexams. Don't regurgitate. Understand. He's not the greatest lecturer, but he's funny and a nice guy. Just don't use your cell phone in class.

taking Gen. Physics with him- like him a lot as a person, he's very nice, but he can't hear- so he can't answer questions, he also is not very clear at all. I have an A so far but no thanks to him- if you are taking gen. physics and calc 1 at the same time RUN from his class.

His lectures are so out there they are pointless (all theory). Do well on mini exams and it will help you quite a bit. His tests are all practical application though and he does not help you very much to understand what you need to know for the exams. It sucks cause the course material is so vast
