Stephanie talks was too much to the point where you can't even do anything. You just go to lab to listen to her talk. She is nitty gritty marker, and does not negotiate with marks at all even when you're right. Don't recommend her at all. Avoid at all costs. The T.A's are way better than she will ever be

Comment:

Had Steph for a first year lab and loved the class. She is hilarious, and more than happy to help you if you need it. Does spend a large portion of the lab time talking and explaining but does a good job and makes the labs easy to understand. If you are more of a figure-it-out yourself person then not the prof for you. Would take her class again.

I would not recommend. Every lab she shows up last minute or late. She over explains topics, leaving us even more confused. She is a slow marker. Right now specifically, Stephanie only teaches 3 lab sections for the same course, and so she says that she is always available outside of class, but isn't and says she will respond to emails,but doesn't.

requested a meeting with this instructor to find out how I'm doing and what I need to improve on before final (since she never marked and handed back assignments) told me I was doing great and not to worry and that my mark was close to perfect. When final marks were finally released I got a barely passing mark. Quizzes are super hard.

Avoid this lab teacher if your hoping to learn something. Consistently late for classes. Doesn't provide lab information on time. Explains things long and complicated leaving very little lab time. takes the whole semester to mark things. Highly disorganised and seemingly never prepared. Labs are boring with little to no practical experience.

Took for science credit for art degree. Do NOT recommend her as lab teacher. Very disorganized. Showed up late to every class (one time almost an hour late) disappears during class time. Very unclear, doesn't mark stuff on time, doesn't provide feedback, talks forever so there is no lab time left. Never used a microscope and did no experiments.

Mixed feelings about Steph, Very enthusiasticupbeatknowledgable. Despite having a loud voice + confidence, I feel that she doesn't communicate the content effectively. Rambling introsummaries easy to zone out. Often hoursdays late when providing graded quizzes for office PU. Quizzes and assignments were surprisingly difficult.

Stephanie is amazing! Extremely helpful, very nice, very informative. Gives you all the help you need. The exams are hard just because of the sheer amount we have to learn, but they're fair: there are no trick questions and no surprises.

Wow, I'm telling you guys this is an awesome teacher. I was in a different lab but had to make one up and wow was it ever an amazing class. She fun and helpful, not to mention if you miss something she says she'll come right back and tell you again no problems. Also if there is anything that you aren't understanding, she WILL make it clear. AWESOME!!

I love her. She's sooo nice. She prepares for classes soo thoroughly. She puts so much into her classes that you can't help but put in the same effort she does. Shes even young and seemingly funloving! I cant say i like dissecting rats...im an arts student. But as a teacher, i'd love to see her teaching classes i could take as an arts student.
