Makes class fun, clearly enjoys teaching students and does a very good job at it. Does demos of concepts on fridays. He genuinely wants students to succeed and he is very easy to talk to. His homeworks are straight forward and the exams are clear and dont try to trick you.

He's literally the nicest professor I've had at WPI. He cares so much about the material as well as helping students learn. I know a lot of people dread ECE 2799, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great, friendly, super smart professor. Class was super organized, with great labs. Bitar really cares about students, and is super helpful in lab. Homework and tests are all challenging but fair. I wish he taught more ECE courses.

Labs don't take longer than 2 hours each. There is a lot of homework buy its only worth 10% so it helps you learn but it also won't hurt to skip a few. Tests aren't too bad. He gives you details about each question before hand. Labs were really unorganized (missing equipment, TAs didn't care).

Great Professor makes material seem easy. Go to class do the Homework. If you start the HW early in the week you should be fine. HWs and labs constitute the test know both the HW and the Lab.

He is a great professor. He makes lectures entertaining by adding sound effects, demonstrations, and hilarious analogies. Lab reports are super long though. 20 pages is the minimum. You really learn something in this class. He gives tough homework assignments weekly, but they are relevant and he is willing to help you.

Brilliant Professor. Had him for 2799 and Micro 1. You can tell that he really loves the content, and has cool demos in class that will make a history major want to switch to ECE. Tests can be a little tricky, but always solvable. Go to class, help sessions, and understand the homework well, and you'll get the grade you want.

One of the few professors at WPI with a genuine interest in helping students become successful. He talks a lot, but he listens as well. Tests are medium difficulty but with a curve ball at the end. He's the closest teacher in AK to Bill Nye (nerdy jokes included). To get him on your good side, talk about honeybees.

I've had the privilege of having Professor Bitar for ECE2201 and ECE2799. I heard horror stories about 2799....but to this day it's still my favorite class. Very helpful for MQP too! He has a good sense of humor, but don't let that fool you his exams are tricky. He wants you too think. You'll find out for yourself in 2799! Have fun with the course!

Take a class from this professor; he is an excellent teacher. He assigns a fair amount of homework, but not too much (took about 5hrs/week). His tests asked questions based on the theory; some students considered these "trick" questions. Do the work; listen in class; comprehend the labs. You will learn. You will get good grades.

This guy like sucks. I had him for 2201 and 2011 and both times i thought on all the test he tried to trick his students. His scale is good but he just sucks. Inconsistent lab grading between classes. Remember, if you have him, He is trying to trick you as we speak. Plus he had a 4.0 at wpi. That makes him better than you.

Absolutely phenomenal professor. Teaches well and grades fairly. Includes one difficult problem on tests, but scales. Homework can throw a few curve-balls, but doesn't take longer than a few hours. Do the homework ALONE and the tests are a cakewalk. Overall excellent professor.

Great instructor, knows his stuff very well. Knows how to pace the course and makes lectures fun. If you take a class with him make sure you are ready to do A LOT of work. Labs take forever to write up and the tests are 50 minutes long but would take any normal person about 2 hours to finish, so you better be able to put in the time or u'll NR.
