He has described himself as socially conservative- this definitely comes across. He kept making ethnocentric statements about the 3rd world- which I found rather silly and just annoying.I'm mostly afraid for students that don't question and just accept whatever profs say. Otherwise the course is straightforward, organised. easy.

If you want to hear about how wasteful and inefficient gov't is and how the slashing of social programs under Martin was a necessary evil then take him. Definetly conservative-leaning in his views. Didn't mind the class but the material covered was pretty dry (public adm). Reasonable grader, only studied the night before exams and still managed A-

He is a nice person. He knows what he is talking about, although he does go out of topic every now and then. Recommended to those who just want a passing grade (C) by just going to the lectures and not reading the book. If you read you can pass with an A or B.

Nice man, very helpful, he cares about his students. I went to every class, and understood more from the readings then his lectures. Knows his stuff but often goes off topic. If you do your readings, you should do well. Tells you what to expect on exams. I like him, but many found him boring.

I found his lectures organized and concise. He obviously goes to length to prepare for his lectures. Interesting subjects, case studies. I got a kick out of his sense of humour and had a HUGE crush on him all through university, seriously.
