Dr. Hall is a wonderful lecturer and will go around the class when we have discussions to make sure we are understanding the material. He is extremely approachable and I found it helpful to attend his office hours. He always patiently explained difficult concepts and broke it down to the basics for my understanding.

Took it to fill my science requirement. The subject was hard, and he was no super-easy grader on tests. He was fairly easy on our posters and stuff though, which helped my grade a lot. He's okay.

unfair to judge with astronomy - students think it will be easy, so don't put in any effort - hall likes to challenge them. take an upper division class - he does a great job with upper-level physics. took astronomy as well - loved the material.
