Kaifa was hilarious, I had him for Macro and Micro, and I'd definitely take him again. You'll be roaring with laughter every class, and he teaches the material well too-- just make sure you take notes, you might get swept into the easygoing atmosphere and then get blindsided on the test. Learn the material and do the homework, review both.

I took Kaifa for Macro and I can honestly say that he was a phenomenal professor. He knows economics very well, but in order to learn from him you have to understand his teaching style. He loves to use analogies to dumb things down (which is great but for some people it doesnt work). 3 to 4 homeworks are given + 3 tests + an optional final.

I took Professor Kiama this semester and he was awful. He barely tought anything and spoke about drinking and food. His tests are hard and did not offer help or any studying information with the grade heavily weighted on the tests than the 100 question homework he gives out that are confusing. If you are looking to pass then do not take him!

Extremely smart professor. Has an ability to make concepts appear easier than they are. Tough exam giver. I do not necessarily agree with his method, even though I know it is fair and to be expected from a college professor! I would consider taking him again, and this is due to the fact that he is in fact a very intelligent professor.

He is very funny this is actually a bad thing because he is off topic and its hard to tell when to tell the difference when he is joking or not. He was extremely lazy and fails to teach the material.. A few students and I had to form a study group and go over the text book. Its a tough class that he just makes more difficult. Test are from NJIT..

Covers the key concepts, would suggest reading the book and taking advantage of online sources to fully grasp everything. Otherwise he's a great professor and makes the class worth attending with his jokes and lectures. Understanding and doing well on the homework should guarantee you an A on the test with minimal studying.

I took Kaifa for Econ 2 and thought the class was great. Yes, you have to pay attention and come to class, but Kaifa is a great professor who knows his stuff and will go out of his way to make sure you understand everything. Definitely take him as long as you don't mind putting in the work.

Really tough class to take online although I doubt it is much better in person. The material is tough and the book, which he co-wrote, is even tougher to follow. Avoid taking this class with him if you can. I've made Dean's list every semester and I probably won't this semester because of this class.

The class is straightforward online. Homework one week then an exam the next. Until the end of the semester. Test are very challenging, make sure you save and print out the homework. I did not end up reading and still did well.

Kaifa is the best professor at CCM. There are students that think he's difficult but those people are the ones that don't attend class regularly. I advise you to READ THE BOOK before he teaches the lesson so that you have an easier time getting what he's teaching. The key is paying attention in class, that's how I passed.

Kaifa is a BOSS! He is not the easiest professor, but currently at CCM he is the only professor to take if you want a chance at passing. Do the online homework, and retry the questions until you get them right, it will help your grade. attend class and you will do fine. just stick it out and regardless of your grade don't drop it he curves grades.

KING KAIFA! he is a hilarious man who knows how to relate economics in a way students will understand. The online test was very challenging but if you do the homework and show up for class you only need an 80 test average to get an A in the class.

My boy Kaifa the only econ teacher you should take, didn't need the book, didn't study, but ended up with a B, the homework is all online and you basically get an A for that, the only hard part about his class is that 1 online test and I think I only failed it because I did it with a group [of dummies]. BEST ECON PROFESSOR ALIVE.
