Don't take him! He's a terrible professor and he shouldn't be teaching because teaching is not a priority for him. His class is long and boring. I got a good grade in his class because I basically taught myself everything and learned stuff better from other professors.

If you fail this class, you're an idiot. He's nice and literally tells you what is ON the test, if you come to class the day before the exam. Assignments are on myitlab and it's easy if you take your time to go through the training based assignment... guaranteed 100% for hwk. Only the hwk is graded btw. Lecture is a bit boring, bring a laptop.

Easy class. Lecture get boring sometimes, but other times they were really fun and interesting. If you have common sense, you can do the labs. He tells you just about everything that is on the exams on the day of the review. Best part of all: open book tests. Its a breeze

Holy crap this guy is boring. I fell asleep many times during his lectures. All he does is throw up code and explain it line by line! Does not give any assignments that help the student learn. Midterms are open notes but are still hard as hell. I would not take him again nor would I recommend this professor to anyone.

I've had this teacher last year for 110, and it was a breeze. 188 is a whole different ballgame though. All his assignments were difficult to do unless you had a friend in the class, but even then you'd still have trouble. His exams were quite rough, mostly short answer; if you didn't read the book you were pretty screwed. Take Lundin.

Took this class thinking it was easy from other students. It wasn't. He changed grading methods because of complaints, and it's HORRIBLE. Two midterms, one final, two papers. He grades VERY hard on the papers, and his tests are short essay. Take Lundin if you can.
